Stay uses advanced blood, fecal, urine, imaging, and other diagnostics to complete a picture of health for your pet. These diagnostics are usually minimally invasive and can be performed quickly and easy from the comfort of your home.

Common questions

  • Many diagnostics are fully covered under Platinum Total Care memberships, including CBC, blood chemistry, urine, fecal, skin, ear, and infectious disease testing. These diagnostics are not covered under Gold Total Care memberships, though Stay offers price transparency and competitiveness for all diagnostic services.

  • Stay does not require anything to be done in your home if you are not comfortable. We offer drop-off appointments at our home hospital for any service or procedure.

  • Routine diagnostics like blood work, fecal, and urine testing should be done annually or bi-annually for most pets. Just like people should see their physician once a year, pets should be seeing their veterinarian once a year, or more, depending on their life stage and habits.

  • Stay performs all x-rays are our home hospital, even if your pet does not require sedation for them to be performed accurately. Ultrasounds can be performed at your home, but are typically also performed at our home hospital.

  • Some diagnostic results can be relayed to pet owners while our veterinary staff is concluding your pet's appointment. Some diagnostics can take >12 hrs for results to return, but our veterinary staff will contact you as soon as possible.
